Philip Thomas Mesman is a 25-year-old app developer and computer programmer hailing from Eastern Canada’s maritime province, Prince Edward Island. Mesman relocated in 2011 to Oakville, Ontario where he now works and resides.   As a child, Tommy enjoyed playing video games and tinkering with computers and other small mechanical objects. After meeting another student’s computer technician brother at a school Career Day, Mesman knew he wanted to work as a video game developer. After high school, Tommy attended University and studied Computer Science, graduating amongst the highest in his class. To gain practical hands-on knowledge he then went to a local college to study coding and app development. Mesman was chosen to undertake an internship at a local computer technology company on the East Coast Island. Mesman then decided to pursue his dreams of launching an app and left for Ontario after completing his internship.   Before settling in Oakville he had a small stint in Waterloo, Ontario, considered Canada’s tech capital. Mesman thrived amongst the innovative minds in Waterloo, while working at various start-ups. The experience helped him hone his skills and see what works when it comes to app development and startups.   Taking the skills he learned in Waterloo, Mesman relocated a short distance away, in Oakville, where he was hired by Digerotica LLC in Mississauga as a freelancer. The adult software and app company is in the midst of an exciting and lucrative time with expansion and development in a variety of their platforms. Since his arrival at the company, Tommy has been one of the company’s lead developers.   Besides freelancing for Digerotica, Mesman leads a technology consulting company called PTTechconsulting (pttechconsulting.com) where he continues to help Oakville-based start-ups and entrepreneurs with programming and app development.   In an effort to give back and inspire the next generation of game developers, Tommy mentors local high-school students with similar ambitions. An avid and extensive traveler, he enjoys visiting new places frequently and experiencing the native culture. Philip Thomas Mesman often returns to PEI to visit his parents, family and friends.
